Sturgeon Bay Preserve,
Join BLPA member, Lori Kindsvatter, for a narrated walk through the Kindsvatter woods and Sturgeon Bay Preserve.
Please park at 460 Deerfield Road, Indian River on the pavement near the gray and white barn and we will walk through the Kindsvatter woods that lead into the Sturgeon Bay Preserve.
On the way back to the parking area, we will collect a leaf of your choice that you will want to use for making a nature print. In the Kindsvatter’s barn we will make one nature print per person to appreciate nature. All supplies will be provided.
The ground will be uneven for most of the hike, so please wear solid-bottomed shoes or hiking boots. Walking sticks and cameras are welcome. Please leave your pets at home.
Walk is limited to 15 people.
