Annual Meeting Features Government Leaders

The annual meeting of the Burt Lake Preservation Association will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Cooperation Park in Indian River. A light breakfast will be served and the BLPA logo merchandise sales tent will be open. The meeting will begin at 10:00. Our guest speakers at this year's event will be:

Steve Schnell, Cheboygan County Community Development Director

Mike Ridley, Tuscarora Township Supervisor

Harold Koviak, Burt Township Supervisor

Each leader will spend a few minutes sharing their organization's initiatives and programs they are undertaking that are consistent with our mission: The preservation of Burt Lake and its watershed for quality use be generations to come.

Then, we will have an open forum of questions and answers with the audience. The panel style format will be moderated by BLPA President David Steenstra. So please come prepared with a question.
